One Year Later: Ukrainian Teachers Talk with EIHR

Ukrainian teachers are working hard to help students learn in the midst of violent conflict (NY Times, Sept. 2022). In our continuing series Trauma and Healing in the Classroom, EIHR staff member Nataliia Naiavko speaks with colleagues currently teaching in Ukraine.

Some questions in this pre-recorded interview include:

  • How do you keep your students feeling safe?

  • How do you take care of yourself?

And perhaps most importantly:

  • What do you want others to know?

As always, all are welcomed! Can't join us live? Register and we'll send you the recording.

Immediately following, sand animation artist Svitlana Melobenska talks about art as a form of healing.

Find this video on her YouTube channel, and see her work live on the webinar.
